The Last Will and Testament of Isaac Dawe Sr. This text was retrieved from the Maritime Archives, M.U.N. Campus, St. John's, NF, by me Susan Lawrence and presented to Vi Smith. To all people to whom these presents shall come, I Isaac Daw of Lance Cove, South Shore, Conception Bay, Newfoundland, do send greeting. Know ye that I the said Isaac Daw, fisherman, for and in consideration of the goodwill and affection which I have and do bear towards my loving son George Daw of same place and Island, fisherman, have given and granted, and by these presents, do freely give and grant unto the said George his heirs, executors and administrators all and singular my part of the place on which I live (the remainder having been already shared in lots among my sons John, Samuel, and Isaac J which I had reserved after the division aforesaid- admer???ing on the Waterside forty five 45, yards and on the Road side thirty three 33. with all creations there from and all privileges to the same appertaining - or in any wise belonging- to have and to hold the same to him the said George, his heirs Executors and Administrators from henceforth art his and their property absolutely- the said George continuing as heretofore to provide for and take care of me the said Isaac and his mother-.
