Ivany, Rev. Gilbert - Born June 13, 1897 at English Harbour, Trinity Bay, Newfoundland, the son of William and Julia Ann Ivany. Gilbert was educated at Methodist School, English Harbour; Mt. Allison University and Boston University.

1925 - ordained at first Conference of United Church by Dr. Chown and stationed at Old Perlican, Trinity Bay. |
